May 29, 2013 Gillum House Bed & Breakfast Shinnston, WV: In May of 2012, Fred Worcester arrived at the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast with his dear friend, Brunehilde Giesler to explore West Virginia for a few days.

One year ago today, May 29, 2012, your host of the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast accompanied her guests from Schweinfurt, Germany to the Harrison County Courthouse. They were applying for a marriage license.

They returned to the Gillum House, license in hand, to don their wedding clothes while the innkeepers also changed so they could serve as attendants.

A Methodist minister married them in the yard of the Gillum House as it was filmed and photos taken. Paperwork was filled out and “hand-carried” to the Courthouse where certified copies of the marriage certificate were issued.

Herr Worcester left with his Frau!

This could be you!
