May 29, 2013 Gillum House Bed & Breakfast Shinnston, WV: In May of 2012, Fred Worcester arrived at the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast with his dear friend, Brunehilde Giesler to explore West Virginia for a few days.One year ago today, May 29, 2012, your host of the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast accompanied her guests from Schweinfurt, Germany to the Harrison County Courthouse. They were applying for a marriage license.They returned to the Gillum House, license in hand, to don their wedding clothes while the innkeepers also changed so they could serve as attendants.A Methodist minister married them in the yard of the Gillum House as it was filmed and photos taken. Paperwork was filled out and “hand-carried” to the Courthouse where certified copies of the marriage certificate were issued.Herr Worcester left with his Frau! This could be you!
