A message from Sunset-Ellis Drive-in: Monday, August 2 will be the LAST MONDAY SHOWING of the season! Box Office opens at 7:30 PM and the movie starts approx. 9:00 PM. Admission: Age 12 and older - $6; 3 to 11 - $2: Under 3 - Free.
Now playing: July 30, July 31, August 1, and August 2 (last Monday night of the season) - Cats and Dogs and Night and Day.
The Sunset-Ellis Flea Market opened for the Season April 17, 2010!
Lowe Public Library has opened a Genealogy Room! The Genealogy Room at the Lowe Public Library will be open every Wednesday from Noon until 5 p.m.
Shinn descendents are now able to visit the log house. Contact the Gillum House.

Frontier Days begins September 19, 2010 with a Car Show at Lincoln High School parking lot. Shinnston Area Council of Churches is sponsoring a Gospel Sing Wednesday, September 22.
The Museum is open for the season.
The telephone was invented in 1876. The Bice-Ferguson Museum features an "anchor" exhibit of telephone equipment dating from the 1880s. There is also a new exhibit every month during the Museum season.
Shinnston Community Band rehearsals on every Tuesday starting in September. Plan to spend your Tuesday evenings with the band at Lincoln High School Band Room at 7 PM. Call Bandland 1-304-622-1171 for information about joining the band or about our concerts. All instruments are welcome - so dust off your musical instrument (clarinets especially welcome) and come join us. Next Concert December 4, 2010.
Shinnston Community Band CDs Available Shinnston Community Band's latest CD's, Shinnston Community Band Salutes America and Shinnston Community Band Christmas Concert 2002 are available at the Gillum House in Shinnston.
