Jimmy's is open from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday thru Thursday; 11 AM to 9 PM Friday and Saturday; 11am to 3 PM Sunday..
Bl Margaret d Castillo Chapel of Perpetual Adoration on Mahlon St. is open to ALL for prayer or meditation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Lowe Public Library has opened a Genealogy Room! The Genealogy Room at the Lowe Public Library will be open every Wednesday from Noon until 5 p.m.
Shinn descendents are now able to visit the log house. Contact the Gillum House.

November 11, 2011: Lincoln High School vs Chapmanville at Stydahar Field 7:30 PM kick-off. We lost but we are totally proud of our team.
December 10, 2011: Lincoln High Cheerleaders compete in State Finals in Charleston. They came in Second. We are proud of them.

The Bice-Ferguson Museum Closed until Spring.
The telephone was invented in 1876. The Bice-Ferguson Museum features an "anchor" exhibit of telephone equipment dating from the 1880s. There is also a new exhibit every month during the Museum season.
Shinnston Community Band rehearsals will start Spring 2012for the Annual Shinnston Independence Concert. Plan to spend your Tuesday evenings with the band at Lincoln High School Band Room at 7 PM. Call Bandland 1-304-622-1171 for information about joining the band or about our concerts. All instruments are welcome - so dust off your musical instrument (clarinets especially welcome) and come join us. Next Concert July 1, 2012.
