Shinnston, West Virginia begins their celebration of Shinnston’s Christmas on the first Saturday in December. Activities take place all day, culminating with the Parade and the Shinnston Community Band Christmas Concert.

Gillum House Bed & Breakfast is honored to continue with B & Bs For Vets in 2012. The program started in Shinnston, West Virginia in 2008. In 2010 the program went international with over 900 B & Bs around the world participating. In 2011 BBCanada started B & Bs For Remembrance Day.
The Lord’s Pantry Food Bank holds the annual Gospel Music Fest fundraiser on August 18, 2012 at Lincoln High School.
