The St Patrick?s Day Parade will be on March 17! It should be a good one. Sponsored by the Shinnston Volunteer Fire Department, there will be a Color Guard from Parkersburg and also from Parkersburg, a Highland Bagpipe & Drum Corps. The Museum will be open just for the parade goers from 2 to 5 pm. In honor of her Irish heritage (Kathleen Moran is as Irish as you can get I think), the 5 Cans Because You Can offer is in effect for St Pat?s Day. Bring 5 cans of green veggies for the Lord?s Pantry and get the second night free, but if you bring 6 we will give you $15 in Jimmy?s Diner Dollars toward Saturday night?s dinner. Stay a 3rd night for an extra $50 plus tax.
