Here Comes Santa - With Music!
December 2, 2010: This evening is the final rehearsal for the Shinnston Community Band for the 14th annual Shinnston Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 4, 2010. The Parade starts at 6:00 P.M. from the old Shinnston High School through the City (form-up is at 5:30). Santa will come to Shinnston with the Parade. Immediately after the parade, the Public is invited to gather at the Baptist Lighthouse on Rebecca Street (the First Baptist Church will be holding their Bazaar all day Saturday) for the Concert – free admission. The Northern Harrison Kiwanis Club is requesting non-perishable food items for the Lord’s Pantry Food Bank to be brought to the Concert.The Chanticleer Children’s Choir will be the “warm-up” act for the Concert. They will begin at 7 P.M. Come to Shinnston Saturday for an evening of music and Christmas Spirit.
