Gillum House Bed & Breakfast is honored to continue with B & Bs For Vets in 2012. The program started in Shinnston, West Virginia in 2008. In 2010 the program went international with over 900 B & Bs around the world participating. In 2011 BBCanada started B & Bs For Remembrance Day.
The Banks of WesBanco held their company picnic at Shinnston’s Ferguson Memorial Park. It was a day of fun for all ages!
The Lord’s Pantry Food Bank holds the annual Gospel Music Fest fundraiser on August 18, 2012 at Lincoln High School.
Beck’s Cafe and Sports Center is now open in Shinnston. Co-owned by David and Beckie Minor it is open for breakfast and lunch with the full menu available all day when the Sports Center opens at 4 PM. Come soot pool in Shinnston.

July 1, 2012 the Shinnston Community Band will perform the Anual Independence Concert at Ferguson Memorial Park.
